Terms and Conditions

FIXED PRICE

  • When booking your repair, our technician will confirm the repair fee with you, in accordance with displayed prices at the time of booking.

  • The repair price includes our expertise in repairing procedures, diagnosis, disassembly and reassembly the device, new parts and travelling to you.

  • There are no hidden fees or extra charges.

  • If during the inspection, the technician identifies any additional works are required, you will be notified of the reasons, nature of additional works and if there are any associated costs involved. You are free to accept or decline such additional works.

 

INCORRECT DEVICE DETAILS

  • We prompt you to ensure the details, device brand and model, provided at the time of booking are correct.

  • Here is useful information to assist you with locating your device model details.

  • If the device you present to the technician, once on site, differs from the make and model to those provided at the time of booking. A cancellation fee of $59 and/or different repair fees may apply.

 

DEVICE TESTING

  • Prior to commencing the repair, the technician must perform a full test (when possible) to determine the condition of your device, features and functions pre-repair.

  • You will be notified when and which device functions or features are not working pre-repair (if any)

  • Please note our 3-year warranty does not cover for pre-repair issues identified and notified at the time of testing.

  • If we are not able to conduct a testing (i.e. phone is not charged, phone is locked, no-display) our warranty only covers for faults directly associated with the performed repair.

 

OUR PARTS

  • Our company ethos is to offer the best possible service and product. As such, we install Refurbished and OEM* parts.

  • This ensures your device is repaired by expert and certified technicians with the best parts available in the market.

  • If you wish to install an Aftermarket** part (slightly more economical) we can place a special order, different waiting time and only a 1 year warranty applies.

 

   * Refurbished / OEM = Original Equipment Manufacturer

   **Aftermarket = Not made by the original equipment manufacturer

 

LIQUID DAMAGE

  • For devices presenting liquid damage issues, we will perform our diagnosis in accordance with industry standards and procedures.

  • If the device cannot be repaired, a minimum fee of $59 applies for the time the technician spends diagnosing, disassembling/ reassembling the device and travelling to you.

  • If the device can be repaired, we only charge the fee for the repair and associated parts installed.

 

   We will always present water damage evidence and impacts on the phone for transparency.

UNABLE TO REPAIR

  • There are instances where devices may present motherboard or manufacture issues.

  • In these cases, we perform our diagnosis in accordance with industry standards and procedures to identify what the issue may be.

  • If the device cannot be repaired, a minimum fee of $59 applies for the time the technician spends diagnosing, disassembling/ reassembling the device and travelling to you.

  • If the device can be repaired, we only charge the fee for the repair and associated parts installed.

 

   We will always provide a diagnosis to assist in the event that your device is still covered by

   manufacturer’s warranty or any insurance.

 

CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING

  • You can cancel or reschedule your booking at no charge as long as we are notified 60 minutes or more prior to the agreed appointment time and location.

  • Bookings cancelled within 60 minutes of the agreed appointment will incur in a $59 cancellation fee.

  • Bookings rescheduled within 60 minutes of the agreed appointment will incur in a $39 re-booking fee.

 

   To reschedule your appointment for a different time, date and/or location you must contact our

   technician to set the new appointment details.

 

NO-SHOW

  • You will receive a notification once the technician is on-site as per the agreed appointment.

  • If you do not arrive for the appointment as per agreed time and location (within 15 minutes time frame) the booking will be cancelled and incur in a $59 cancellation fee.

 

DATA LOSS

  • Data loss during the repair process is atypical. Nonetheless, we encourage our customers to ensure a complete data backup is made prior to repairing your device.

  • We do not offer data backup services.

  • We cannot be made liable for any data loss as a result of performing a repair on your device.

 

WATER RESISTANT DEVICES

  • When a device with water resistant functionality is repaired, we follow standard procedures and install associated seals and water resistant adhesive in accordance with manufacturers specifications.

  • This ensures the water resistance functionality performs in accordance with the manufacturers offering.

  • We cannot be made liable for any water damage issues after the repair.

  • Our 3 year warranty does not cover water damage issues.

 

HOME BUTTON & TOUCH ID

  • If your device has a fingerprint biometric sensor (Touch ID), there is a small risk that either the Home Button or Touch ID (or both) do not function correctly following the repair.

  • Even if the repair is done with all due care and following manufacturer procedures, these functions may become inoperative post performing the repair.

  • Our 3-year warranty does not cover for non-working home buttons and/or biometric fingerprint sensor.

  • This is due to the manufacturer’s hardware security features in devices with touch ID functionality.

  • We strongly advise our customers to repair their device directly with the manufacturer if you have concerns with losing these functions.

 

TRUE TONE FUNCTIONALITY

  • For iPhone 8 models onwards using the iOS 12 version or more recent iOS updates, the 'True Tone' functionality may not be affected after replacing the screen with us (i.e. the new screen may not support the 'True Tone' functionality correctly).

  • This occurs due to Apples embedded configuration on the iOS software.

  • At this point in time it is uncertain if Apple will resolve this issue in future iOS releases.

  • If you use the 'True Tone' functionality and are concerned about losing such feature, we recommend to not proceed with a screen replacement at this time.

FACE ID

  • If your device has a face ID system, there is a small risk that the face recognition (Face ID) do not function correctly following the repair.

  • Even if the repair is done with all due care and following manufacturer procedures, these function may become inoperative post performing the repair.

  • Our 3-year warranty does not cover for non-working Face ID sensor.

  • This is due to the manufacturer’s hardware security features in devices with Face ID functionality.

  • We strongly advise our customers to repair their device directly with the manufacturer if you have concerns with losing these functions.
